Our company was established in 2003 by Greg Longnecker, a parasail expert with over 30 years of experience, and his family. Since then, X- Treme Parasail has grown into one the largest watersports companies on Oahu. As a family business, we stress the importance of values like integrity and hard work and strive to make every experience great.
When is the best time to go?
Mornings are normally the best time to go. Weather and ocean conditions are generally nicer.
What is the difference between the options?
We provide 4 different parasail options, Beginner (500 feet of line), Standard (700 feet of line), Deluxe (850 feet of line), and X-Treme (1000 feet of line).
Will we get wet?
Yes! We recommend you wear your swim suit!
Who can ride / are there any limitations?
Riders must be at least 3 years old. We cannot fly you if you are pregnant, are susceptible to heart attacks, or are over 300 lbs.
Is parasailing scary?
Although we’re called X-Treme, parasailing is actually a peaceful activity.
Is there a photo/video package available?
Yes! We provide a photo service for a reasonable price. High-resolution photos of your flight are shot by our crew using DSLR cameras. You’ll be debriefed on the service once you board our boat—just make sure you let the crew know you want photos!
How long will my activity take?
For those who opt-in for our transportation service, from pick-up to drop- off, parasailing will take around 2 hours, jet-skiing will take around 3 hours, and a combination of these activities will take around 4 hours. For those who are driving in themselves, we ask that you check in 30 minutes before your scheduled activity. From check-in to your return to our booth, parasailing will take around 1.5 hours, jet-skiing will take around 2 hours, and a combination of these activities will take around 3 hours.
Will my party be able to ride together?
Our boats can carry up to 12 people according to U.S. Coast Guard regulations. For parties over 12 people, you will be split up into separate boats.
Do I need to tip?
Tips are not required but they are definitely appreciated!

Recommend people who get seasick to take necessary precautions before the trip
Can I bring anything up?
