  • Our company was established in 2003 by Greg Longnecker, a parasail expert with over 30 years of experience, and his family. Since then, X- Treme Parasail has grown into one the largest watersports companies on Oahu. As a family business, we stress the importance of values like integrity and hard work and strive to make every experience great.

  • Chevron down When is the best time to go?
  • Mornings are normally the best time to go. Weather and ocean conditions are generally nicer.

  • Chevron down What is the difference between the options?
  • We provide 2 different parasail options, Beginner (500 feet of line) and X-Treme (1000 feet of line).

  • Chevron down Will we get wet?
  • Yes! We recommend you wear your swim suit!

  • Chevron down Who can ride / are there any limitations?
  • Riders must be at least 3 years old. We cannot fly you if you are pregnant, are susceptible to heart attacks, or are over 300 lbs.

  • Chevron down Is parasailing scary?
  • Although we’re called X-Treme, parasailing is actually a peaceful activity.

  • Chevron down Is there a photo/video package available?
  • Yes! We provide a photo service for a reasonable price. High-resolution photos of your flight are shot by our crew using DSLR cameras. You’ll be debriefed on the service once you board our boat—just make sure you let the crew know you want photos!

  • Chevron down How long will my activity take?
  • For those who opt-in for our transportation service, from pick-up to drop- off, parasailing will take around 2 hours, jet-skiing will take around 3 hours, and a combination of these activities will take around 4 hours. For those who are driving in themselves, we ask that you check in 30 minutes before your scheduled activity. From check-in to your return to our booth, parasailing will take around 1.5 hours, jet-skiing will take around 2 hours, and a combination of these activities will take around 3 hours.

  • Chevron down Will my party be able to ride together?
  • Our boats can carry up to 12 people according to U.S. Coast Guard regulations. For parties over 12 people, you will be split up into separate boats.

  • Chevron down Do I need to tip?
  • Tips are not required but they are definitely appreciated!

  • Chevron down What should I bring/how should I prepare?
  • Recommend people who get seasick to take necessary precautions before the trip

  • Chevron down Can I bring anything up?
  • You can bring whatever you want up there, however we are not responsible for any damage or loss that occurs to your items.

  • Our captains have decades of experience parasailing in a variety of weather conditions.
